And I was just telling my friend that I saw him years ago in person - when my brother was in college he invited me and they played in the gym! It was a terrific concert, they played numerous encores. But it was a kinda small venue and I was hearing impaired for several days after that. Think it was about 1980.

He a legendary performer in concert. Seeing him in a gym would be amazing. Esp. in 1980.

And of course they were terrific! Don't know if you read my post above, but I had the privilege of seeing Springsteen early on. When my brother was in college, Springsteen performed there - inexplicably in the gym! - and my brother invited me. I remember that he did several encores, he was obviously well received! But it was not a big place and I couldn't hear all that well for a couple of days after that! This must have been about 1980...
