As he described it, he spent an hour or two, scouting the grounds, looking to score.

"Gotta get high for Janis. Gotta get high for Janis. .................."


Wel, Janis was there. Jim was there.

But Jim has no memory of seeing Janis.


That was about two weeks before Woodstock.

He lived a hard life.

2 years ago, his lungs gave out. He is in Florida.. Dr's say they can't fix him but he is stabilized to the point that he can now walk across his living room floor unassisted.

He says he doesn't regret any of the life choices he made.

Saw this movie in the theater when it first came out. Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix were certainly showstoppers!
