Well, he's still around and still riding, but he's outta the mines at last - and he guided me through the rhinestone and horseshit country music that was popular back then and pointed me in the right direction

I credit him with training my ears in mountain music and outlaw country and he was a fan of Ed's

But Waylon & Willie OWNED it when they did the cover

Yeah I dig this tune lots. The vocals are missing but the groove is just so sick!

Heard this one from him? Kiiiind of in the vein of that 30’s style band you dig whose name I is to buzzed to recall.
