You can hear that in the two most famous versions of “Soul Man.” In both cases, they were talking about this guy. Founder of Booker T. & the M.G.'s, an original Blues Brother, and essential to the success of Sam & Dave, Otis Redding and many other artists. Good to hear he’s still around.
