Now I think (hate to be too sure about someone else's motives) I know why you posted this. That was a long time ago. So much has changed and yet not so much.

I just stumbled on a clip today and thought, "wow, how did I miss this???" So, I rented it off Amazon and watched it.
It didn't have the direct KICK of "The Candidate" or "A Face In The Crowd"; it seemed very allegorical. The best way I can sum it up is like listening to an intense conversation from another room. I guess I should watch it again.
But its bottom line definitely relates to what's happening today.
