I first saw him in the early 1970's and he was unforgettable!

They played it the night we saw them open for Eric Clapton.
Cool part of the show was that after Clapton's set (something under 2 hours), both bands came out and played together for over 45 minutes.
Long show (approaching 4 hours of actual music), but awesome.
Samba Pa Ti was one of the early tunes in Carlos' opening set. Terrific.
