Young Maurice White was hired by Ramsey Lewis when he was unknown and they became close.

Maurice repaid Ramsey by loaning his band to him to make this album, which was a huge success for Ramsey.

... the title cut and the fun and funky "Hot Dawgit." The RL Trio (Ramsey, Cleveland Eaton, and Maurice Jennings) did the other tracks including the incredible cover of the Stevie Wonder classic "Living For The City."

one of my early Ramsey Lewis offerings. Got play on my music show. Mother Nature's Son was another favorite
