...has an amazing ability to check his ego!
In their entire catalog, under 10% of guitar leads are played by Walter. For his own band!
Denny Diaz, Elliot Randall, Lee Rienour, Steve Lukather, etc. played solo after solo for them.
And, the decision to have someone else play the solo was almost always Walter's.
We musicians are not typically known for our humility.
