Tusk.

One of the few times that the rock world embraced the college marching band era. Also predates MTV by a year or two.

22 months! That album came out in October 1979.
MTV went on the air 8/1/81. Eight-one-eight-one. I'm guessing they did it on purpose.
The reason I remember it is that I knew a guitar player that was on a cable system that was ready to launch.
Our cable system was still expanding & we weren't getting the new channels until at least Thanksgiving's.
A few others were in the same boat, so he held an MTV launch party. Started at 10pm.
We stayed until around 5 in the morning.
The next day was, gladly, Sunday.
BTW: Tusk is about my 5th favorite Fleetwood Mac song.

This is #1. I love the guitar part & the sampled "oohs" "uhs", & " ahs" are so cool!

I wonder if there is any college marching band that doesn't play Tusk in the stands - back when we had football games with bands, fans, and such. The percussion bit is just too cool.

Since most of us were there in 1979. We like the song but cringe at the 70s fashion! Which we also wore!
