It was a qualifier. Then we finished 2nd in the next round.
Then we went to the finals in Chicago.
There were pro dancers at that event.
We KNEW watching them warm up that we were toast!
We were good! They were great!!!!

I don't remember the songs but my now ex-wife and I won a couple of dance contests at a couple of Clubs, first time I don't think we knew we were in a contest. Way back in the day when the music was live and spirits were high
