Love Gerry and the Pacemakers. Gerry Marsden could work magic with a ballad like that or (my other favorite) Ferry Cross the Mersey. Thanks for this.

Gerry and the Pacemakers songs were always anchors to what was happening at the time. Just listening takes me back to some vivid scenes of where I was and what was going on.

One of the greatest songs ever recorded. As I sit here with a swollen up right hand wishing I could play my guitar, it was a treat to remember something so simple, clean and pure from my youth over fifty years ago. A good reminder that sometimes keeping it simple is the best.
