I saw him at the Contra Costa Jazz & Blues fest (think that was the name?) in 1984 and also saw Albert King there - both were spectacular. Don't remember a ton about that day, but do remember the spectacular day and area and these 2 blues greats. Wish I had had the chance to see him and Clapton together - that would have been so awesome.
