His folk and first two electric LPs, Bringing it All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited were brilliant. His last truly great LP was Highway 61 Revisited. Mike Bloomfield on guitar and Al Kooper on organ really put this one in overdrive. But that was way back in 1967.

He's an excellent songwriter but he's not Americana's best. One of his great weaknesses as a writer is his inability to sing and relate to characters other than himself.

Obviously, I don't worship at the altar of Dylan. And he sure as hell didn't deserve the Nobel Prize.

Anyway, I wasn't directing any invective towards you, just at an artist I find far, far overrated.
