(18,676 posts)It's incredible because I'm 68 and he was popular when I was in school. I made this avatar I use here about ten years ago. I could probably dig up the software and make one for you if you have a favorite work that he did.
My liver doctor has a signed print of the Cleveland skyline that I examine every time he examines me. It's not unlike this NYC print you posted.

(21,934 posts)suffering from dementia according to wikipedia. shame. I hope he is still seeing lots of colors in his minds eye.
(thank you for that kind offer. I could probably do it with some online avatar doohickey making site)
is this the print? Must be a groovy liver doctor. There are some reasonably priced prints on his website. I've been tempted, but I don't really have money like that.

(18,676 posts)I'm not sure about the colors, but he often painted different versions of a single theme.
I too have looked over his collection of prints, but they're priced just beyond what I would spend. But then too, I always lamented passing on an original Gracie Slick painting that was hanging in a Cleveland gallery for $350 in the mid '90s. Seemed like a lot back then. I don't think I liked the painting so it would just be buying the bragging rights.
I didn't pass up on the next rock artifact I found. "Running Horse", a pen and ink original by Phil Hartman (SNL, Futurama) when he lived in Canada, was used for the Poco album Legend. It hung in Hartman's office until his wife shot him.
