about 2 weeks before Woodstock. They opened for a free Airplane concert. Blew me away with Soul Sacrifice.

Maybe Samba Pa Ti? I grew up listening to my parents Abraxas album and remember being fascinated with the cover art when I was little.
But I will nominate Smooth as one of the best songs of the 90s.
