I found another Weezer song I like!

Holiday

Working my way through the Blue album again and I’m still not finding the joy I was promised. I think they might grow on you? This song didn’t stand out to me on the first two listens. Now, it’s been added to my driving playlist.

or even 3.

Some prominent ones in my memory:
R.E.M. - Murmur
The Replacements - Tim
The Cure - The Head on the Door
Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes

Just off the top of my head, these are four of my all-time most cherished albums that I didn't really 'get' at first. They were also the first records I heard by these bands ... my first year of college.

Blue album is pretty great too. I liked that one the first time. Say It Ain't So is still a fave.

Love, actually. It’s a straight up banger and on my ‘Wake the fuck up!’ playlist that I listen to on the way to work everyday.

I’m going to delve into Pinkerton for the second time in a couple hours. After the first listen I like El Scorcho.

ETA: somehow I missed Weezer, even though I am smackdab in the middle of GenX. Think I got them and Ween confused, or thought they were the same band? Idk. I was on drugs at the time lol.

I think it was the Tonight show when they played "Back to the Shack" which I thought was a cool tune.
