... 14 or 15 before I started listening to rock and roll. 30 miles from Cleveland and Detroit had more pull from Detroint about 120 miles away.

It was Motown or listen to country pop on WSLR. Fortunately, I loved Motwon.

Back then, 'uptight' meant cool, going well, similar to 'got my nose wide open' with a certain undertone of sexual exertion.

It morphed somehow into meaning a prude's reaction to something new or sexual.
