Came out just when Hubster and I were getting together so it has special meaning.

I’ve seen her twice. First time was in the mid 80s with John Prine at some dive club on campus. I think tickets were all of $10. Last time was in 90 at an old racetrack with Jeff Healy Band.

Both shows were excellent, but the highlight was at the second show when several meteors streaked across the sky while she was singing “Home”. The folks down front couldn’t see them and couldn’t figure out why those of us in the back rows went nuts about halfway through the song. I’ll never forget that magic.

John Prine, among others. I did get to see Bonnie with Bruce Hornsby, others on tour, late 90s.

When Bonnie first became popular, early 70s people told my sister she looked like her, and she huffed- 'I don't look like that potato- faced Bonnie Raitt!'

Sister does resemble her (& Meryl Streep)- was a long red haired beauty and hippie student who was asked to run for college, and state 'beauty queen.' Those were unpopular then, but she agreed to do it as a joke. A real character, lol
