playing lead Alto & lead Tenor at different times....In high school we also had an 18 piece big band and I was playing Bari-Sax and occassionally Flute....Always loved playing this genre...and my parents loved to dance to it as it was the music of their late teens and twenties.

Twice a month a 14 piece big band complete with female singer would rehearse there. It was maybe the only place in America that, for the price of a decent, not too expensive meal, you could regularly go out dancing to a live big band on a regular basis. We went there a lot!
