I was wandering through YouTube links, starting with the website of one of my favorite bands, Newen Afrobeat, which led me to Pascuala Ilabaca & Fauna, which eventually, somehow, led me to Sílvia Pérez Cruz. Check out this video from 10 years ago:

I'm not sure who Cástor Pérez is -- her grandfather, maybe?? When I'm old geezer playing cards in the cafe with the fellas, I hope somebody like this shows up to sing us all into heaven. She is really on a whole different level. Glad you enjoyed.
