First, his voice is cool! Very Howlin' Wolf or Muddy Waters wailing character.
Second, in the cover shot of the album, he's not wearing a slide.
Third, the slide phrasing indicates he's doing that in standard tuning, not open.
Very cool!
I'm a sucker for slide guitar.
