2. I drove from California to Ohio

In 1974, yeah I was pretty young, I turned off to avoid the border between some state and Ohio, while driving on the access road I cross the border and immediately this came on the radio

3. Steve Miller was one of the best bands in San Francisco back in the late 60's.

There are a lot of their songs I like. I’ll post some more one of these days. This is one of my favs as well.

There were a couple of venues for teenagers where I got to see the Midnighters, the Seeds, the Doors, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Ian Whitcomb and more that I don't remember at the moment I don't think I realized how lucky I was, at the time I was just as happy to dance with the beautiful girls

5. I saw some great concerts at the Eagles Auditorium in Seattle in the late 60's.

I remember seeing Quicksilver and Santana on the same bill (plus a local band) for $3. Those were the days.

I swear I'm not trying to one up you, you seem as old if not older than I, after I stopped going to those dances, I did'nt work so my mom must have paid for the tickets, but they couldn't have been too much either, I got to go to three concerts at the Forum in L.A. I literally got to see Chicago open for Hendrix, Deep Purple opened for Cream and I don't remember who opened for Led Zeppelin
