2. I loved that scene.

The costumes are so "groovy". The Jesus was not too bad looking either. Every Easter I play the album and watch the film. I am an atheist and I realized that the majority of what I know about the Bible stories comes directly from that album/film. Thank you Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The music, costumes and choreography are great.

3. Funny JC Superstar story. When this first came out, my late mother was...

…working as the school nurse for a Catholic school. She said she planned to give the nuns the record of the show for Christmas. I was 20 at the time, and knew nothing about the show except the title, which sounded to me like some sort of spoof, parody, put down, etc - something disrespectful, maybe even pornographic.

I said to her, in horror, “Mom, are you sure you want to give that to the nuns? Isn’t that a dirty record?”

How wrong I was.
