One of my favorite books is “Two Years Before the Mast” by Richard Henry Dana. True account very interesting. I don’t really know anything about Gordon Lightfoot except his records

... the actor wrote a very good sea story after he found himself acting less after ratting out "commies" to HUAC.

"Hayden wrote two acclaimed books: an autobiography, Wanderer (1962), and a novel, Voyage (1976). He said they made him "a lot of money" but he lost most of it to taxes.[35]"

Read 'Voyage' when it came out. I thought it was very good.
