2. Allman Brothers - the best band ever - IMO.

I just love these guys and have from the first notes of the first song I ever saw them do back in 1970 at a small gig at the beach. I remember the first time I heard Blue Sky on the radio, I was so excited that the best band ever was making it big and had a hit song on the FM channels- finally!!!! i love everything about them, their intensity, their brilliance, their light & jazzy syncopation, their intricate jazzy beats, Their guitar playing, their drummers, the organ, Greg's voice, the blues tunes, the perfect bass lines - they had it all! and in spades.

BTW - if I could only listen to one tune only for the rest of my life, it would be Whipping Post - mindblowingly good.

Live at the Fillmore East was a great one too.

4. This great song was my wedding song right before I went down the aisle.

As I came outside, I saw my 70 year old uncle tapping his foot.

Edit: I walked down the aisle to Little Martha. Sigh.

What a great day... 47 years ago.
