...the night he died.
He opened for Clapton, then Eric's band played, then both bands jammed together for something around 40 minutes. Close to a 4 hour show. We didn't get out of the parking lot until after midnight.
Got home about 2:30, slept until around 8.
Went outside, grabbed the paper & found out SRV died in a chopper crash following the show.
Bummer!
