He is probably still the most technically proficient jazz piano player ever.
His technique rivals all but the most gifted classical pianists.
I had a vinyl of him that was a solo live performance. I literally did not hear one mistake on the whole album. And, what he was playing was very involved & tricky.
Arguably the best ever.
