My brother gave me a couple of cassettes. One of them was a Cream album. Waaay before Dolby. I still have it, but the level of tape hiss makes it more like noise to signal ratio.

he was on R&R from Vietnam. There weren't many bands using a cello back then.

I checked Amazon a couple of years ago. A blank 10 1/2 reel was $100! And it wasn’t even very good tape.
