2. I just got that album out the other night

since it is part of my holiday music collection. I like how you can hear all the friends gathered for the recording at the end.

Is it because John was murdered? I think it is a happy song, especially since all the friends were invited to join in.

I LOVE the Beatles and wore black for a month after he died...which happens to be tomorrow. I remember where I was, coming out of the shower at night while attending art school in the Village. Everyone was devastated and there was a line waiting to use the only phone on the floor of our apt building at Union Sq.

It's not so bad just listening to it on the radio. The video versions I've seen, while well done, are depressing to watch. I was only eight when he died but it deeply effected me. I'll never forget my mom's screaming after she heard the news. She ended up crying herself to sleep.
