live on a radio program.

Goosebumps. As if Adele and Karen Carpenter had a baby.

She makes people believe in reincarnation or contemplate the possibility. Seriously.

She can sound like Billy Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Freddie Mercury, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Dinah Washington, Whitney Houston….but, filtered through her unique personal musicality which is just off the chart.

and your post supports my thinking...I can believe that a human is capable of mastering many vocal sounds and rhythms - even at a very young age -; but I will abstain from commenting on the reincarnation aspect.

We got one life to live, AFAIK - my guiding principle: In My Allotted Time - Experience as much as possible and always assume well of those that are not you. Should your assumption prove wrong....don't waste time trying to convince them. Move on, experience new things, new people, and apply the "always assume well" attitude with those that you meet for the 1st time. Being isolated for the better part of 2.5 years, I find new human contacts really enjoyable.

Sorry to inject this stream of consciousness comment that derails your OP. Everyone should listen to her, at least once. 11 YO.
