Since the grinch blocked the Midnight Special video I'd posted (I'm leaving that link at the bottom of this OP), I'm editing to add a much more energetic 9-minute video of the same song from Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in 1973
And here's a video from earlier in 1973 (when they had longer hair):
Editing again to replace the version of the music video above with a better, HD version from Red Bullet -- and to add another YouTube video I found of that Midnight Special performance -- so I'm also going to delete the original link that was blocked. Btw, since I first posted this thread, I read something explaining that the reason lead guitarist George Kooymans took some of the lead vocals, which he usually didn't do on this song, was that Barry Hay was having some trouble singing. A bit of laryngitis, if I recall correctly. Most noticeable at the start of the second verse.
