2. This was, many years ago, my very favorite Bowie song. And omigod, it still rocks...

3. My first time at my new girlfriends house I find Diamond Dogs in her vinyl collection.

That was a good omen, and we were together for 12 years. That has always been one of my favorites and one you usually didn't find in others collections.

4. It's a very good album. And how cool that finding it at your new girlfriend's house helped start a

long-term relationship.

5. There's just a feel to that album. One of many you really need to hear the whole thing.

Queen Sheer Heart Attack is another. The songs are great on their own, but the whole works are awesome.

7. Yes, concept albums should be heard in their entirety. Diamond Dogs sold really well,

but the reviews were much more mixed than they should have been. And then Young Americans overshadowed it, for a lot of people.

6. Oh yeah. Not too long after Diamond Dogs came out, some big band type singer did 1984

on the Mike Douglas Show. I couldn't freakin' believe it! LOL

9. I looked one time but didn't have the singer's name. A Mike Douglas 1984 Google search

didn't turn it up.

10. Haven't found it, either, and I've been checking YouTube since I posted that reply.
