Howdy,
I thought it might amuse some of you to have me supply a Saturday night distraction to pass a little time. On Saturday at approx 6 PM MDT I will try to present some YT music videos for your enjoyment. I like many different genres but am a classic rocker that especially appreciates the '65 to '76 era with an emphasis on guitar rock with a nod to blues rock and prog. I will endeavor to be as eclectic and obscure in the choices as possible but still have an eye for some familiarity for a few of you.
Please take this for what it is. I just want to get that toe-tapping or air guitar going. This is for fun. Please feel free to add your own link if you desire. We shall see how long it will last. All of these songs have a lot to offer and I like something quite a bit about all of them. Enjoy.
Week 1 ( a not so deep dive, but still fun)
Joe Walsh-Turn to Stone. Just because. Just a great sound. I also suggest you blow up the album cover and study the man. What a great picture.
Peter Frampton- It Dont Come Easy. I dare you to play this song only once. A nice 80th birthday greeting to Ringo.
Loggins and Messina- Angry Eyes. Nice old song and tight performance. Very close to the album cut. Not everyones cup of tea, but I find it to be a fun tune and show.
Jethro Tull-With You There To Help Me. Old favorite. The flute and guitar work is magical. The outro is amazing. Loved that Benefit album.
Ian Hunter with Mick Ronson -Once Bitten, Twice Shy. Real rock and roll. Just a fun song.
