this one from the autumn of 1981, on the live late-night show Fridays, ABC's answer to SNL:

That original lineup was amazing, and I wish they'd had many years together as a band. But by the next summer Farndon was kicked out of the band because of his drug problems, then Honeyman-Scott died two days later of heart failure caused by cocaine, and the following spring Farndon drowned after passing out from heroin. He was only 30, Honeyman-Scott only 25.
