This is one of my favorite Redbone songs, along with the fantastic "Champagne Charlie". I was honored to see Leon twice in concert, once in a very small, comfortable, intimate club in Rochester, NY. Our table was right in front of the small "stage" ( little more than a single riser) where, if I had wanted to, I could have reached out and touched him.
What a wonderful night that was, and he was one of the greatest showmen in the business.
Love me some Leon Redbone.

as molasses, and his deadpan delivery made him one of the greats. You could NOT walk out of a Leon Redbone concert in a bad mood. Impossible!
