It was either '73 or '74. They played at a huge high school gym/auditorium in the town where I grew up. With floor seating, probably 9,000 people.
We had backstage passes & got invited to the hotel to hang out a bit.
Every one of them were pleasant as could be, especially Floyd.
Chuck, Cory & Floyd kept reminding us we weren't 19 yet, and we could hang out as long as we didn't drink. The acted more like big brothers than rock stars.
A fun few hours.
