His incredible talent exceeded so many before him and since. I can't even begin to imagine what we might have heard and still be hearing from him had his life not be taken so early.

I was watching a Janis Joplin video a couple weeks ago and the impact of that loss is even more staggering now. David Bowie and John Prine are the most recent that have hit me hard.
