Related: About this forumDandy In The Underworld (1997 British TV documentary on Marc Bolan & T.Rex)
I haven't watched anything close to all of this, but did check immediately to make sure the documentary included Tony Visconti, T.Rex's producer, who IMO deserves a lot of the credit for Bolan's success. I'd recommend Tony's book --
https://www.amazon.com/Tony-Visconti-Autobiography-Bowie-Brooklyn/dp/0007229453 -- for lots of background on both Bolan and Bowie, and an amazing collection of photos.

(60,791 posts)4. Just watched the entire documentary. Really interesting, and it is honest
about Marc Bolan's flaws as well as his talent and charisma. But as always with something like this, it helps to have more information to put what's in the documentary in perspective.
