Before there was SRV & Double Trouble.....there was Rory Gallagher.

Legend has that when a fan asked Jimi Hendrix, "How does it feel to be the greatest guitar player in the world?"

Jimi replied, "I don't know man, go ask Rory Gallagher".

bio video, and know all the songs. One of my favorite Rory tunes is "I'm Not Awake Yet", where he blends blues, rock, and a bit of jazz with Gaelic Irish. He was a great slide player, too, and his command of the guitar was nothing less than awe inspiring.
