(12,744 posts)The cheapest I saw was $20 for a single LP. Most were $35-$50. Saw a couple that were $75. Hed dropped at least $500 on about 20 records.
I used to love pawing through used vinyl bins, but that pricing is outrageous. I even have the disposable income right now to afford to do it, but I just cant bring myself to pay that much for a record.

(18,714 posts)I picked up a few RSD exclusives and a few used records as well at my local record store. My favorite exclusive this year was "Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section". There were several pretty great releases though for all types of music tastes

(20,869 posts)One of my best friends owns Record Connection in Niles Ohio.
Live bands in the parking lot, free local beer, and pizza on a comfortable sunny day.
I got the brand new Ringo EP "Change The World", a double live disc from George Fest (Harrison), Savoy Brown Live with Kim Simmons, and a Youngstown band's cd that played there.
I should have got a selfie because I ended up sitting all day in front of a music store on a wooden chair. i was born to do that. My friend Jeff is almost all vinyl now, and the cd shelves are shrinking.
Friday I saw Lindsey Buckingham. Saturday was RSD. Today I worked all day in the garage on my Triumph. Three stellar days in a row!!

(9,298 posts)purchased for me, the 7 inch vinyl Black Pumas album.
I didnt even know this was a thing, until after the fact. Do now, and will be at the record store next year. We even had country singer, Chris Stapleton hanging out there. I understand hes from the Lexington Kentucky area, and he was doing a concert at Kroger field.
I may not be a country fan, but I do agree Mr. Stapleton is a wonderful singer.
