This paean to Chuck Yeager crossing the sound barrier, however, has too many words crammed into too little musical space for my liking.

Just MHO

i'm not a bad singer, and i know most of his songs by heart, but damn, some times i just.cant keep up.
it's funny, the album jt, seems most of the songs are close to double time compared to jt's own recordings. if he didnt often do it, i'd suspect he was hurrying through.

it's hard to find his sheet music, too, which doesnt help. or at least, i've only seen 1012 tunes.

i like songs that are more verse than chorus, tho.

A few examples being Guitar Town, Feel Alright, Taneytown, Valentine's Day, South Nashville Blues, and Galway Girl.

But he knows his away around a killer vocal chorus too ... Someday, Devil's Right Hand, The Other Kind, Hardcore Troubadour, More Than I Can Do, and I Don't Want to Lose You Yet all jump to mind.

And I know all the words to all of those songs
