(76,706 posts)I'm surprised to see Aerosmith listed as New Hampshire. I always thought they were from Boston.
I also did not remember Steve Miller being from Wisconsin.
Then, Kenny G had outsold Nirvana. Wouldn't have guessed that.
I also would have guessed Styx for here in Illinois.

Also, Portugal, The Man from Alaska.
The Killers played July 4th on the WH lawn at Obama's invitation. (2013 or so?). They had a pretty big hit "All The Things I've Done"
The Fray was electropop. They had a huge album about 15 years ago, "How To Save A Life". I had it as I was going through a synth pop phase. I think it sold a couple million units.

(5,270 posts)isnt the best selling artist from New Jersey. Whitney Houston was popular, no doubt, but Springsteens career has been a lot longer and that would be true even without Whitneys tragic death.
