Grateful Dead & Duane Allman - Dark Star / Spanish Jam 1970

&feature=b-vrec

Fascinating Youtube production (no video but interesting graphics). 2 distinct bands coming together and jamming on signature jam numbers for both bands. I always thought the Dead and Allman Bros shared more in common than just about any 2 bands I've ever heard. Keep in mind, it's 1970 and these guys are happy to go on stage, take sonic risks and just let the music flow....can this type of raw, choreographed musical shows ever happen today?
