I want to thank DUer DFW for mentioning them. I'd never heard of them before, but I'm really impressed by what I've heard so far.
And yes, they're singing in German, their own language, unlike the Dutch group Golden Earring. Which I know has to have kept them from being as successful in the US. But I've listened to a lot of English lyrics over the years that weren't exactly clear, lol.
And this band sounds great. I love this video...

(49,137 posts)I absolutely love this song (so do lots of other people, since it has nearly 70 million views). I've probably listened to it a couple dozen times since first hearing it. Not at all tired of it yet.

(49,137 posts)I think in Rolling Stone when they published a list of the best vocalists ever, about Paul Rodgers -- that he'd been "born to sing over big guitars." The same is true, IMO, of Andreas Frege aka Campino.
And I love the guitar work on this song. Especially at 2:58, 3:53 and 4:03.
