Related: About this forumAny serious Midnight Oil fans here?
I was quoting part of "Sometimes", when I remembered I
have this mysterious set of lyrics, and bit of a tune by them in my head ...
...though I can't think of them right now 😂😑🙄
I've looked several times (but not recently) at album tracks on line etc but nothing has rung w bell. Arg!
So in the meantime any favorite shows you've seen?
I believe the first I saw them was when we'd marched into Central Park (NYC) for the No Nukes" March, and they were playing.

(10,599 posts)I am thinking of going to see them next month. They announced that this is their final tour.
Sometimes is one of my favorite songs by them, but it does not appear they're playing it this time around.

(26,455 posts)their Tour Shows came up. Woah!
But I won't do that type of indoor stuff esp a R&R concert at 69 even being dbld vaxxed, dbl boosted. Too risky for me.
If it was an outdoor venue I could be outside of it and hear them. 👍
I know I've seen one full show back in mid late '90's, and I kind of know where that was.
Might have seen them one more time but can't visualize the venue.
They're right under my 4 most favorite bands ever. 👍

(10,599 posts)I didn't realize their longtime Bass player passed away from cancer in 2020. He did a lot of vocals.
If you're not going to see the show live, there's always You Tube, in the safety of your living room. And 6 beers for the price of 1.

(26,455 posts)I'll be looking out for live vids from the show. 👍
I love recorded music, but oh how I love live shows.
I've seen around ?200+ bands (at least that's what I think I'd complied a list back in the mid-late '90s) mostly from '65 - 2006?
