Eric Clapton - Elmore James' classic "It Hurts Me Too" (live in 1995) + Elmore James original

This live performance from 1995 is from the Martin Scorsese/Scooter Weintraub documentary "Nothing But The Blues."

And I want to remind people here who don't like Clapton that this group is strictly for appreciating music, and not for critiquing musicians you might dislike for one reason or another. (See the guidelines pinned to the top of the board.)

Some of us -- probably most of us -- can separate the art from the artist.

And this is great blues, and great guitar.

that's a phenomenal cover!

I hafta admit I prefer Clapton's cover, which I also think is better than Elmore James' original (and I love Elmore James).

But all three are great. Sheer pleasure to listen to.

description includes the phrase "true to style", or something similar.

Clapton's performance here could be similarly described.

I'd not seen this. Thanks!
