Here’s a funny story. Years ago when I was in college, I made money by playing piano in various bars and restaurants in New York City. It was an easy way for a music student to make some extra money and I usually got a free meal out of it, too.

One night, I played a one hour set of Chick Corea songs. When it was time for my break, a man came up to the piano and gave me a $20 tip. He said he enjoyed the music immensely because he was Chick Corea’s manager!
