1. I've been playing this on my uke.

Todd and I are roughly the same age and grew up in the same area, so this one resonates.

But I've lived most of my life in the PNW, and have lots of family near Portland, so the story has always fascinated me. And the song just has a really nice melody, and some really interesting imagery.

5. Damn. This and what a coincidence.... just last week, when I was talking to Elvis at his taco truck

in (oh shit, I forgot I wouldn't tell anyone where he lives or that I know him.)


--This guy I know, says a guy he knows, lives a couple of miles from this guy who lives in a tent in the national forest. The guy in the tent, used to be almost as rich as El-- (Shit, I almost did it again) but spent all his money. Guy would never talk about where his money came from but after he spent it all, he had trouble getting a job to earn money. So he earned money by trapping and selling furs. But the fur business ain't doing too good these days after the P.E.T.A. fussing.

I don't know... What do yiz think? Is it him?
