Don Ellis' Hindustani Jazz Sextet is *finally* being issued on CD !
For years, this circulated on cassette tapes, but AFAIK was never issued on LP. Now, finally, Sleepy Night records, which has released three previous Don Ellis 'lost tapes' albums, including the fantastic "Live in India" CD, has reissued it on CD. It is already being sold on eBay by a UK dealer (with exorbitant shipping rates) or can be ordered directly from Sleepy Night's Web site (https://www.sleepynight-shop.com/).
