The "Produce Like A Pro" channel on YouTube has some great analysis and background

on specific songs, albums and artists, as well as pro tips on production. https://www.youtube.com/c/Producelikeapro

I'd never run across it before, but this morning YouTube's algorithm included one video from it with lots of other recommendations when I first checked the site.

The video below -- "Songs That Changed Music: T. Rex - Get It On" -- impressed me enough that I decided to recommend the channel here asap.

The channel belongs to record producer Warren Huart -- see this Wikipedia article for info on him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Huart

That T.Rex song is one of my very favorite songs, and I like the studio version especially for Tony Visconti's production. Huart includes some of Tony's comments on the recording in his video, but I don't know the source of what he's reading. Some of the sentences exactly match what Tony says about the song in his autobiography, while what's in the video omits some of what's in the book but includes some other comments, so I'm guessing Huart was reading from a magazine article about the recording of that particular song.

There's some nice background info on Bolan and T.Rex, analysis of the guitar, etc., from Huart.

Anyway, if you like the song, you'll probably enjoy this video.

When I was looking at the videos on that YouTube channel, I quickly noticed there's a video on Bowie's "Heroes" -- another hit produced by Tony Visconti that Huart felt deserved a separate video as one of the songs that changed music -- and I'll add that one below, though I haven't yet listened to any of it. Like that T.Rex hit, "Heroes" is one of my very favorite songs.
